As proprietor of McGuinness Fisheries, specialising in the sale/purchase and lease of license packages, fishing quota, and commercial fishing and marine vessels. Dave McGuinness has been involved and associated in the commercial marine industry for over thirty strong years. From owning and running commercial fishing trawlers off the eastern coast of Australia, technical design work on manufacturing, building prawn / fish & scallop trawl nets, design work in paravanes and otto boards all with the emphasis on efficient catch rate.

Also, processing of catch product to wholesale / retail outlets for quality seafood. Since then, through the knowledge gained, have successfully operated one of the best known and trusted commercial marine trader to assist other commercial fisherman / companies with their endeavours to manage their businesses with the ongoing changes due to government policies.
